The Crystal: What Would the River Say?

COMMENTS Wonderful video. I'm still most impressed with your movie "Chasing Water", and would like to ask you do to a similar movie on the Rio Grande. Now, that's a river with deep history and spirit, and its birth is in Colorado. With your fabulous photographic skills and the narratives of Pueblo and Hispanic ties to the river…an important and powerful project! Cochiti Damn flooded native ruins and burial sites, and to this day people pray for their ancestors under the lake. The river is rapidly losing indigenous fish and turtles, and no longer consistently flows to Mexico. In many areas one can walk across the dry river bed. I wonder what impact this is having on the people of Mexico who rely on the Rio Grande. Thanks for letting me share.

Having clean energy and at the same time preserving the environment where the dam is built
is tough.

Great movie!
