Matthew Kotchen is a professor of economics at the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies, and Leonardo Martinez-Diaz is the global director of the Sustainable Finance Center at the World Resources Institute. They served consecutively between 2013-2017 as the deputy assistant secretary of environment and energy at the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
