Bob Massie is president of the New Economy Coalition, which is playing a leading role in the campaign to persuade colleges and universities to divest their stock holdings in fossil fuel companies. An ordained Episcopal minister, Massie was active in the anti-apartheid divestment campaign and is author of Loosing the Bonds: The United States and South Africa in the Apartheid Years.
