A resident of Anchorage since 1982, nature writer Bill Sherwonit has contributed essays and articles to a wide variety of publications. He is also the author of 11 books about Alaska. His most recent is Living with Wildness: An Alaskan Odyssey, published in 2008 by the University of Alaska Press.
