Michael B. Gerrard is a professor of environmental and energy law at Columbia Law School, and founder and faculty director of the Sabin Center for Climate Change Law. He formerly chaired the faculty of Columbia’s Earth Institute, and the American Bar Association’s Section of Environment, Energy and Resources. His most recent book is Legal Pathways to Deep Decarbonization in the United States (co-edited with John Dernbach).
